Clacton Cricket Club - 'It's a Knockout Challenge' - Sunday 12 July 2015 at 1pm

Venue: Clacton Cricket Club Pavillion, Vista Road, Clacton.




Clacton Cricket Club presents this sporting event which is open to everyone.  

Pre-booking is essential with a maximum of 12 teams.  

Each team will consist of 10 people and the cost is £50 per team.  

Minimum age is 12 years.

Clacton Chorale - 'A Summer Serenade' – Saturday 11 July 2015

Evoking the season of real lemonade and fine cucumber sandwiches on the lawn, Clacton Chorale find themselves in light romantic mood this summer, as they lead you down a wooded lane of ancient English madrigals and traditional part songs. 

There are Songs from the shows and romances for flute and piano by Peter Thorne too, all guided by their musical director Gilli Dulieu, and all in aid of the wonderful work of the St Helena Hospice.




Trinity Methodist Church in Clacton’s Pier Avenue is the venue, at 3.00pm on Saturday 11th July.

Promise to lose yourself in the romance of summer at this lovely concert – and enjoy meeting the choir and friends for light summer refreshments at the end. 

Relay for Life Family Fun Weekend – Saturday 4 July & Sunday 5 July 2015

A weekend of family fun will be taking place to raise funds for Cancer Research at Alton Park Primary School in Clacton.  

Organised by the Relay for Life Clacton, the event will include a range of stalls, live music, refreshments and much more. 

A candle of hope ceremony will take place on Saturday evening, a moving tribute to all affected by cancer. 

Entry is FREE and the event is open to the public from 12 noon to 11pm on Saturday, 4th July and 9am to 12 noon on Sunday, 5th July.

From CVS Tendring: Frinton Residents’ Association Coffee Morning– Saturday, 4 July, 10 am-12.00noon

Venue:  McGrigor Hall, Fourth Avenue, Frinton-on-Sea. 



All residents welcome to attend.  

An opportunity to discuss local issues whilst enjoying a free cup of tea/coffee and biscuits.  

A PCSO will also be present.

Next Youth Performers Production...

The Youth Committee has decided that the next annual fundraising Concert with have the theme, 'Movies'.

The Production Team confirmed so far are:
  • Production Chair - Sam McCarthy
  • Choreographer - Gabrielle Tyler
  • Musical Director - Will Smith-Daye
The Concert will be performed on Sunday 1st November 2015.

Venue, performance time and ticket details are to be confirmed.

The Auditions will be on Friday 10th July 2015. These will be held at the CMTS HQ from 6pm.
