Clacton Chorale - 'A Summer Serenade' – Saturday 11 July 2015

Evoking the season of real lemonade and fine cucumber sandwiches on the lawn, Clacton Chorale find themselves in light romantic mood this summer, as they lead you down a wooded lane of ancient English madrigals and traditional part songs.

There are Songs from the shows and romances for flute and piano by Peter Thorne too, all guided by their musical director Gilli Dulieu, and all in aid of the wonderful work of the St Helena Hospice.

Trinity Methodist Church in Clacton’s Pier Avenue is the venue, at 3.00pm on Saturday 11th July.

Tickets are just £5 from 01255 424568,  johnkedge@tiscali.co.uk , and Choral members, with limited tickets on the door.

Promise to lose yourself in the romance of summer at this lovely concert – and enjoy meeting the choir and friends for light summer refreshments at the end.
